Flagstaff Arboretum
This large garden has a plethora of flowers and other plant life to offer visitors. You can take a wildflower tour while you are there.

  • Season/Hours: It is open 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. April through October. 
  • Cost: Adults: $7, Senior (60 ): $6, Youth (3-17): $3, Under 3: free 
  • Services: They offer guided tours through the garden.

Aspen Loop
This easy 2.5 mile trail on the San Francisco Peaks has wide open spaces filled with meadows blossoming with wildflowers. 

  • Location: Seven miles North of Flagstaff, on Snowbowl Road. 
  • Season/Hours: May through November.

Inner Basin Trail
Follow this trail into a basin in Coconino National Forest in the spring and summer and you’ll find a meadow draped in colorful wildflowers. The hike is almost four miles long. 

  • Location: This trail is 15 miles North of Flagstaff in Coconino National Forest. 
  • Season/Hours: It is normally open from spring until fall. Check with the Forest Service for updates on any trail closures.
